Sitting on the toilet, standing with one leg raised, or a shallow squat may feel easiest.

Wash and dry your hands. Get into a comfortable position and give yourself a moment to relax before handling the disc.
Hold the rim and pinch the sides together so the disc becomes narrow enough for comfortable insertion.
Gently insert the pinched disc and guide it back and slightly downward toward your tailbone rather than pushing straight upward.
Once the disc is fully inserted, gently tuck the front rim upward behind your pubic bone.
Janell is designed for up to 12 hours of protection, depending on your flow and the product directions.
Wash your hands, get comfortable, and locate Janell’s removal notch. Gently engage the notch and pull the disc forward and out, keeping it as level as practical. Empty the contents into the toilet.
Follow the cleaning and storage instructions included with your Janell Disc before reuse or storage.
If you’re constantly aware of the disc, something may need adjusting.
